This was our first trip to Sydney - I was hoping for accommodation with a view of the iconic harbour and came across The Sebel Quay West Suites on booking.com - harbour view apartment looked amazing and hoped it lived up to exoectations. . We arrived in the harbour on a cruise ship and scoured the city landscape from the deck hoping to spot our chosen hotel but failing to match the picture on booking .com with our view we remained skeptics that our harbour view would live up to expectations - how wrong we were - our room was on the 22nd floor- as we entered the apartment I shed a tear - the view was totally spectacular - the apartment immaculate , exceptionally well appointed and totally exceeded our expectations - the location in The Rocks area from our point of view was perfect - a few minutes walk from Circular Quay where we could jump on the Ferry’s, a stones throw from the Opera House and surrounded by vibrant bars and restaurants . The staff at the Sebel are fantastic - so friendly and helpful - we had a truly memorable stay - our ambition is a return trip to Sydney as we loved it so much and we would choose to stay at the Sebel Quay West Suites with Harbour View every time - totally exceeded our expectations.

Place is Centrally located in "THE ROCKS" room has picture perfect vies of Opera House and Harbor bridge. We could not wait to get back to the room to enjoy a snack and beverage from 2 balconies. Place had 2 rooms living room/ fridge/ microwave and bedroom both had balconies with stunning harbor views. Ther is a washer and Dryer room which made it convenient for our stay. it is more of apartment than a hotel room. Even though they VERY UN-TACTFULLY have mini bar and snacks to tempt you in effort to make a few extra bucks on your stay(they say for "guest convenience", I say "SAMELESS/SELF SERVING" money grab). They have some attendant comes in your room twice a day to check on smacks and beverages you take. There is a convenient store with all snacks and beverages and more 100 feet from hotel if you need it. 5 min walk to circular key or 10 min to Harbor Bridge. You can fall asleep and wake up to Harbor Bridge views from your bed!! (we had room 1205)

The fabulous view from the pool. The location but if you are coming with heavy suitcases from the station, make sure you head to the elevators serving the car park in Harrington street that takes you up to the lobby through the rear of the building. To do this you need to ignore the short route from google maps and go north via George Street then cut westwards through the square to walk south down Harrington Street and find the entrance to the lift through the glass doors, just after the vehicular accesses to the car park. That way you’ll avoid a steep hill and precarious flights of ancient stone stairs. Otherwise get an Uber!

Great location - only a few min walk from Circular Quay and a few tram stops and walk to Darling Harbour. Staff were very accommodating when we found my two children couldn’t fit on the sofa bed comfortably and even though it was tight, they brought in a roller bed which made a huge difference to us. Room was lovely, beds comfy, laundry handy. Breakfast was excellent. Cereals & juice buffet style and hot food to order a la carte. Fantastic almond flat white, hot chocolate and chai latte with breakfast. Pool was excellent to wind down after a long day with the kids.

We stayed at the Sebel Quay West suites for one week and this hotel was the perfect location we needed for our time in Sydney. Conveniently located in the Rocks close to trains, ferries, trams and buses what it was great for our stepping off points for day trips. The room itself was really nice - a large lounge/dining area with kitchen which we used to cook a few meals and a large separate bedroom. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.
